In the last week or so there has been some buzz around Chat GPT’s Android beta including some note-worthy indicators that OpenAI are going back on their previous assurances that ChatGPT would not include ads. Given the seeming (I remain sceptical) adoption of ChatGPT by some users as a replacement for Googling something, and the integration of AI responses into more established search models, it was always a question of when, not if.
